In order to get the Windows 10 key for a computer that was gifted to a graduate and needs the key applied, run this command in command prompt:

wmic path SoftwareLicensingService get OA3xOriginalProductKey

This will return the product key which can then be entered into the Windows Activation prompt in the Windows Settings.
